How to Test a Heating Element
If your electric dryer won’t heat it may be the heating element. Check the dryers heating element for Continuity or you could visually inspect the heating element for any breaks in the coils.
If a heating element coils have a break in them, the heating element won’t be able to pass electricity through the coils which makes the coils on the glow red hot.
