If the washer is installed with a pedestal, be sure the mounting screws are tight, and the pedestal’s feet are in firm contact with the floor, and the foot lock nut is tight to the frame.

Remove and clean any dirt or deposits around the inner door seal with a damp cloth. The door glass seals against the rubber seal; dirt or deposits can prevent a proper seal and cause leaks. Gently pull back the seal to inspect all areas under the seal and to check for foreign objects. It is important to look for cracks, tears or splits in the door seal as well, as this can cause the washer to leak.

The Sud or Sd code may be the result of a restricted drain hose or standpipe (drainpipe).

The flow of water can create suction (siphon) and the water will continue to drain out of the washer.
